Habits That Made Me Learn Faster

When you're teaching yourself to code, discipline becomes your greatest asset. I discovered that consistent routines, rather than bursts of energy, were the secret to meaningful progress.
Each morning, I dedicated an hour to focused learning—no distractions, no phone. Breaking problems into micro-tasks and using tools like Notion or Trello helped me organize both learning and project goals effectively.
Additionally, I journaled everything: errors, breakthroughs, and questions. This turned into a personal knowledge base that I could always revisit. Sharing progress online also created accountability and encouraged feedback.
Good habits compound. When your environment is set up for focus, learning becomes a natural byproduct. These small changes radically accelerated my growth.
